Titanium stub end are generally used with stainless steel or carbon steel flanges to reduce the cost of use, and the form of this type of flange is also called looper flanges (PJ/SE), or called looper flanges, loose flanges.
Titanium stub end is also called titanium butt welding ring, usage: titanium stub end through the stainless steel flange, titanium stub end and pipeline (titanium pipe pipe) welding, two welded titanium stub end butt, stainless steel flange to do fastening. The contact with the medium in the pipeline is titanium material, that is, the original titanium pipe and titanium stub end, and the stainless steel flange part does not contact the medium, only to tighten the effect, so as to reduce the cost.
Disadvantages of PJ/SE- loose sleeve flanges and looping flanges used with titanium flanges: This type of pipeline connection is not suitable for use in an environment where the pipeline pressure is too high, and is suitable for normal pressure pipeline environment
